Welcome! I have spent the past twenty-five years supporting clients, especially pregnant, birthing, and parenting individuals and families.  My work has included a variety of roles, including:

  • teen parent case manager

  • reproductive health advocate

  • domestic violence advocate

  • birth doula (for both private and underserved/low-income clients)

  • program manager

  • board program committee chair

  • private practice psychotherapist

  • childbirth and parenting educator

  • pregnant and postpartum trauma survivor consultant

  • when survivors give birth approved trainer

  • mentor and consultant for other perinatal professionals

  • child & family therapist with prenatally substance exposed children and their families

  • adjunct faculty with university midwifery students

Ultimately, I want to help people better understand themselves and/or have a better pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and parenting experience.  Sometimes that looks like working with teens and adults on their own childhood traumas and family of origin experiences; sometimes that looks like working with parents, from pre-conception through pregnancy, birth, and parenting; and sometimes that looks like training and mentoring other professionals who serve pregnant, birthing, and postpartum/parenting individuals.

Please have a look around my website... get to know who I am and what I do.  And then contact me if you are a client or professional interested in working with me.
