Welcome! I have spent the past twenty-five years serving pregnant, birthing, and parenting individuals, couples, and families.  My work has included a variety of roles, including:

  • teen parent case manager

  • reproductive health advocate

  • domestic violence advocate

  • birth doula (with private and underserved/low-income clients)

  • program manager & program committee chair

  • private practice psychotherapist

  • childbirth and parenting educator

  • consultant for pregnant and postpartum trauma survivors

  • when survivors give birth approved trainer

  • child & family therapist with prenatally substance exposed children and their families

  • adjunct faculty with university midwifery students

The common thread throughout my work is my desire to help parents have a better pregnancy, birth, and parenting experience so their children can thrive.  Sometimes that looks like working with parents and children themselves, and sometimes that looks like training and supporting the professionals who serve them.

Please have a look around my website... get to know who I am and what I do.  And then feel free to contact me if you are a client interested in working with me or are a professional interested in attending a training or consulting with me on working with trauma survivors.

I look forward to hearing from you...
