Over the years, the ways I have supported and worked with clients has varied as much as my clients themselves. If you read my "About Me" page you know that my career started in social work, then moved to doula work, psychotherapy, childbirth and parenting education, and last but certainly not least survivor consultations and professional trainings on working with pregnant and postpartum trauma survivors. In each of these roles, I have witnessed first-hand the importance of support and the incredible power people have to transform their lives.and the lives of their children.
These days, my client practice is focused on psychotherapy and survivor consultations. Although I love doula work (and truly believe everyone should have the option of having a doula) the unpredictability of on-call work did not mesh with my professional or familial rhythms. So, if you are looking for a doula please click here for a list of DONA International birth and postpartum doulas in your area.
If you are looking for psychotherapy or survivor consultation services, please click on one of the links below for information on my work:
psychotherapy (with a focus on families in the childbearing years and motherhood)
survivor consultations (for clients with a history of childhood sexual abuse, sexual assault, or birth trauma)
I look forward to working with you. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need additional information about my services.
